In 2016, the families started a “Hearts for Carleton” campaign to show their love for the school. Many of the same people came together again in 2025 to do hearts again. Now, there are over 500 hearts on display in Joyce-Collingwood now as a tribute to the generations of families who care about saving Carleton Elementary for future generations.
