Do you have a bike you no longer use? We’re collecting used bikes of all types (kids bikes, youth bikes and adult bikes). Donated bikes will be repaired, refurbished, and provided to youth in our community who need a bike.

Apply for a Free Bike
Who can apply?
Bikes are for children and youth facing barriers, including those receiving income or disability assistance, qualifying for a Leisure Access Pass or Red Bus Pass, refugees, or self referrals from those experiencing financial hardship.
How to apply
Complete the application form: application form pdf or submit online here by July 18th, with either:
- A referral letter from a school, community organization, settlement agency, social worker, or other support service; or
- A short self-referral describing your circumstances and why a bike would help.
Email your completed form to: pedalsforthepeople@ourcommunitybikes.org
If there are more applicants than bikes, then the applicants be included on other wait lists.
“Pedal Forward” is a community partnership between Our Community Bikes, the Collingwood Community Policing Centre, and the Collingwood Recreation Society, working together to collect donated bicycles, repair them, and provide them to local youth and families in need. Funding support for the repairs is provided by the Russell Eyton Fund and TransLink.
