Tending Plants & Land at Renfrew Community Park

Join Still Moon's Willoughby Arévalo for an environmental stewardship maintenance session at Renfrew Community Park.

We'll give the area some love and protect the trees and shrubs we planted last year from encroaching weedy plants. We'll also do a round of garbage cleanup around the site.

Should-Knows Before the Event:

We will be working on slightly steep slopes
Please wear sturdy closed-toe footwear (hiking boots, trail runners, rubber boots with good traction)
Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty
Bring a full bottle of drinking water
Still Moon will provide all tools, including gloves, shovels, garbage reachers, trowels, sharp boxes, and a first aid kit.
Washrooms are available at the Renfrew Community Centre, a 2-minute walk from where we will be working.

This event takes place on the unceded territories of xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
